My research trajectory primarily spans two main areas. Initially, I delved into the complex dynamics of social enterprises, exploring factors that influence social entrepreneurship, their performance metrics, and strategies for internationalization. This constitutes a significant portion of my current work. Later, I shifted my focus to the impact of entrepreneurship, aiming to uncover the key factors that set certain social enterprises apart as more impactful than others. Following this, I examined impact investment, placing emphasis on understanding its determinants, outcomes, and the behavioral facets related to impact investment. A large part of my research concentrates on factors that drive social entrepreneurship activities in developing contexts.
My first area of research investigates the research gap in social entrepreneurship research and and comprehensive examination of what goes on within successful social enterprises. exploration of what factor make people in social entrepreneurial activity. provides insights into the mechanisms, stategies, and practices that make these ventures outcome sucessfull.
To explore the strategies that successful social enterprises employ in emerging markets, my research delves into the forces driving impact investments. By analyzing quantitative data, I wish to uncover the core motivators, from economic and political to societal factors for impact investment. Building on this, I will evaluate the tangible and intangible results of these investments, using case studies and empirical evidence. A final focus will be understanding investor motivations and biases, revealing the human side of impact investments.
